Our story

Gérard Bertrand, the story of a family passion

A passion for wine and biodynamics

In 1975, in the vineyards of Château de Villemajou, in the heart of the Corbières, Gérard Bertrand harvested his first grapes and discovered his passion for wine.

Gérard Bertrand pursues his quest: to reveal the best terroirs of his region and promote them around the world

It was in this spirit that he took over the family torch at Domaine de Villemajou after the accidental death of his father in 1987. Five years later, he created the Gérard Bertrand wine company to develop a range of wines from the South of France.
