Wine description
A "universe of roundness" with its rounded pebbles, its rolling landscapes and also its full and supple texture on the palate. Château de Villemajou is the family estate of Gérard Bertrand, which he inherited from his father and where he trained as a winemaker. The Grand Vin red wine comes from the finest plots of the estate.

Winemaking and ageing
The remarkable quality of this cuvée lies in the exceptional quality of the old Carignan and Syrah vines. The harvest is done by hand and begins when the berries reach full maturity. Part of the Syrah and Carignan is vinified by whole-bunch maceration. A traditional maceration is carried out on the other grape varieties. The wines are blended after malolactic fermentation and then placed in 225-litre Bordeaux barrels in our cellar for ageing lasting 12 months. The wine is then kept for 12 months before being released onto the market.

toasted bread, liquorice, and clove, and offers
powerful and elegant aromas of stewed fruits,
gentle spices, leather, and
roasted notes.

Although all orders are dispatched within 24 hours, this may take up to 48 hours in some cases.
We offer the following delivery options:
- Collection point delivery takes between 2 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch
- Standard delivery takes between 2 and 3 working days from the time of dispatch.
- Express delivery takes between 24 and 48 hours from the time of dispatch.
- Pallet delivery takes between 4 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch.
Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, pallet...) and the price is calculated at the time of checkout.
Standard delivery is free in France from €125 and in other countries from €300 worth of orders.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, as well as payments via PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Transactions are fully secure.
We also accept payment by cheque and bank transfer; however, the order will only be prepared upon confirmation of receipt of payment by our accounts department.
