Grand White Wines 2019: perfection in its natural state
Produced in the midst of preserved nature, from vines cultivated in Biodynamics (a method of cultivation without any chemical products, aiming for symbiosis between the animal, plant and mineral worlds), these three grand white wines proudly represent their Mediterranean origins.
Authentic and expressive, these wines of unique character are a reflection of the terroirs of southern France.
Produced from the finest vine plots, these three prestige cuvées are the purest expression of exceptional terroirs (La Clape, Corbières, Terrasses du Larzac).
Thanks to the unique characteristics of its vineyards: on the edge of the coastline on a limestone soil (Château l'Hospitalet), at the foot of a large causse on a volcanic soil (Château La Sauvageonne), and from century-old vines on a rolled-pebble soil (Château de Villemajou), Gérard Bertrand and his expert teams have crafted three Grand White Wines of the Languedoc, brilliantly rivalling the greatest wine-growing regions.
Château l'Hospitalet Grand Vin White 2019
AOP La Clape - AB/Demeter
Located in the heart of a protected natural park, this exceptional wine is distinguished by a golden-coloured robe, a powerful and fresh nose and a palate of great finesse.
Its freshness and minerality are typical of the wines of the Massif de la Clape.
This Grand Vin White is best served at 11°C and will elegantly accompany your aperitifs and fish in sauce.
Château de Villemajou Grand Vin White 2019
AOP Corbières
Produced from a blend of typically Mediterranean grape varieties grown organically and biodynamically, this wine is synonymous with generosity and elegance.
Its robe is brilliant and clear, its palate lively and ample, with a slightly oaked finish.
Served at a temperature of 10–12°C, it can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, or during the meal, accompanied by fish, white meats in sauce or cheeses.
Château La Sauvageonne Grand Vin White 2019
AOP Languedoc - AB/Demeter
Located in the heart of raw and generous nature, at the foot of the high karst plateau of Larzac, between Ruffes soils (volcanic earth) and schist, La Sauvageonne Grand Vin White 2019 is a complex wine with a highly perfumed nose.
Its palate, rich and unctuous, delivers a beautiful freshness.
This characterful wine can be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, and during the meal with grilled fish or shellfish.
