Maury 2015 Vin Doux Naturel Tuilé Traditionnel Lot 6 Bottles 75cl

• Ideally situated in a natural corridor 17 km long between the Corbières mountain range and the first foothills of the Pyrenean massif, the Maury is, by virtue of its terroir alone, an exceptional wine.
• The sun, a fundamental element of the Mediterranean climate, which shines 280 days a year, is one of the qualitative characteristics of the production of the Maury.
• The low yield (27 hl/ha) is a guarantee of its quality.

The wines are harvested when they reach perfect maturity. To this end, regular tastings of the berries are carried out before the harvest.

The harvest is manual and the grapes are destemmed on arrival at the winery. The winemaking is traditional and the mutage is carried out "sur grain", that is to say before pressing (addition of wine-origin alcohol to the must in order to halt fermentation).

This technique can only be performed if the harvest is of exceptional quality. The maceration is long (approximately 30 days), then a delicate pressing is carried out in a pneumatic press in order to obtain only the finest juices.

The wines are aged in barrels of different capacities (225 or 350 litres) for 1 year. Finally, a bottle refinement is carried out in an underground cellar for 12 months.
