Wine description
Experience history with Heritage An 77 Clairette du Languedoc 2021 75cl. Discover this ancestral grape variety present since Antiquity, whose name refers to the former owner of a luxurious villa. Pliny the Elder, in his work "Natural History", mentions this white wine "Mustum"! Taste this unique aroma born from clay-limestone soils and gravel. Live the adventure!

Simply as an aperitif with southern tapas, this cuvée will also pair wonderfully with Mediterranean fish, shellfish and fresh cheeses. It will come into its own with a scallop carpaccio or flambéed crayfish.
Winemaking and ageing
The harvest of this ancestral and iconic grape variety from the South of France takes place at the end of the night, when temperatures are at their coolest, in order to prevent any oxidation and to preserve the quality of these aromatic precursors.
Harvesting generally takes place from the beginning to the end of September, following an extensive plot-by-plot selection process that allows the qualitative potential of each vine parcel to be assessed. The grapes are transported quickly to the press. Only the finest first-run juices are selected.
After clarification, fermentation takes place naturally at a controlled temperature between 16°C and 18°C. The wine thus obtained is aged in vat for several months with lees stirring in order to achieve a natural smoothness and a creamy mouthfeel. Once the ageing is complete, the blending and bottling stages can then take place.
Tasting note
The colour is clear and bright with a
pale yellow hue and green highlights in its youth. The
aromas of this cuvée are very representative of
the typicity of the Clairette grape variety: in its youth
one can appreciate floral aromas, yellow fruits
(pineapple, exotic fruits, citrus…); with
age one can appreciate mineral notes,
dried fruits and sometimes a slightly
honeyed character. The attack on the palate is refreshing
and digestible; the mid-palate is
smooth and flavourful.

Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, pallet...) and the price is calculated at the time of checkout.
Standard delivery is free in France from €125 and in other countries from €300 worth of orders.
