Description du vin
The year 1650 marks the peak of the maritime wine trade initiated by the Greeks who, since antiquity, made the port of Narbonne, sheltered by the island of the La Clape massif, a great centre of vine cultivation.

Vinification et élevage
Slow maturation and late harvesting (from late September to mid-October) are the secrets to obtaining ripe, healthy and concentrated grapes. This also promotes the extraction of colour and aromas during the fermentation and maceration phases.
The grapes are harvested by hand and transported to the cellar in harvest bins. The grapes are destemmed, then placed in stainless steel vats for macerations of around 20 to 25 days. The wines are then racked and placed in barrels for a period of 8 months.

It is a citrusy wine with minerality and a remarkable freshness partly inherited from its proximity to the sea.
