Wine description
On returning from conquests in 1189, three knights — Guiral, Alban and Loup — who were in love with Princess Bertrade, upon learning of her disappearance, decided to become hermits, each on a mountain, and to light a fire every year to celebrate the beloved. The peak was thus named Pic Saint Loup.

Winemaking and ageing
The work begins in the vineyard with a selection of the plots best suited to producing this type of wine.
The grapes are harvested largely by hand. A double sorting system is carried out in the vineyard and in the cellar.
The winemaking is traditional and the grapes are therefore destemmed before the maceration phase begins, which lasts between 3 and 4 weeks. A pressing is carried out, followed by malolactic fermentation. One third of the wine is aged for 9 months in barrels, with the remainder kept in vats.

The colour is a deep red.
The nose reveals an intense bouquet of red
fruit and gentle spice notes.
The palate expresses complex aromas
marked by garrigue and ripe fruits developing
into toasted notes.

Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, pallet...) and the price is calculated at the time of checkout.
Standard delivery is free in France from €125 and in other countries from €300 worth of orders.
