Wine description
- Gérard Bertrand reveals the history of the great terroirs of the South of France.
- 1130 pays tribute to the first fortification of the city of Carcassonne, a medieval jewel listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
- The vineyard benefits from oceanic influences providing a beautiful freshness to the wine, as well as Mediterranean influences allowing it to achieve ripeness and lovely fruity aromas.

Winemaking and ageing
Harvesting takes place when the grapes reach optimal ripeness. The grapes are destemmed upon arrival at the cellar and then vinified in a traditional manner. Daily pump-overs allow for gentle extraction. The vatting period lasts around twenty days with precise temperature control. After pressing, the wine rests in vats for malolactic fermentation before being aged in barrels.
Tasting note
The robe is a beautiful deep purple red. The nose reveals a generous and complex bouquet of blackberry jam and sweet mentholated spices. The palate is rich and fresh, offering beautiful flavours of dark fruits and spices with a long finish.

We offer the following delivery options:

- Standard delivery takes between 2 and 3 working days from the time of dispatch.
- Express delivery takes between 24 and 48 hours from the time of dispatch.
- Pallet delivery takes between 4 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch.
Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, pallet...) and the price is calculated at the time of checkout.
Standard delivery is free in France from €125 and in other countries from €300 worth of orders.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, as well as payments via PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Transactions are fully secure.
