Description du vin
This cuvée comes exclusively from terroirs located in the oceanic climates of Limoux. Code Rouge is an ode to excellence and a tribute to the Premier Brut du Monde crafted by the monks of the Abbey of Saint Hilaire near Limoux. A blanc de blancs made from Chardonnay, Chenin and Mauzac, it offers an exceptional expression of the high-altitude terroir from which it was born, all finesse and elegance. This Crémant bears all the hallmarks of Gérard Bertrand wines: the iconic red colour of its bottle and the Alpha and Omega symbols, evoking the endlessly renewed cycle of nature that inspired its designation as Brut Eternel.

To discover as an aperitif, with sushi, or with creamy fish dishes, fresh goat's cheese and fresh fruit salads flavoured with basil.
Vinification et élevage
The harvest is done by hand and the grapes are transported in harvest crates. Direct pressing is carried out using a pneumatic press, which allows the press juices to be eliminated through extractions of 30 to 40% without re-pressing. A very careful settling of the juices is carried out, followed by alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature of 18°C. Malolactic fermentation may be carried out depending on the vintage. A very precise blending of the various terroirs and grape varieties is performed, with bottling in early January in order to encourage the development of bubbles.
Ageing takes place on laths for a minimum of 12 months.
Note de dégustation
The colour is very pale, almost crystalline with fine
bubbles. The nose is floral and presents notes of pear,
citrus and fresh fruit. The palate is fresh and mineral. Code Rouge is a fine, elegant and refined blanc de blancs.

Les frais de livraison dépendent de l'adresse de livraison, du nombre de bouteilles et de l'option de livraison (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, sur palette...) et le prix est calculé au moment de la validation du panier.
La livraison standard est offerte en France à partir de 125€ et dans les autres pays à partir de 300€ de commande.
Nous acceptons les cartes Visa, MasterCard, American Express, ainsi que les paiements via PayPal, Apple Pay et Google Pay. Les transactions sont entièrement sécurisées.
Nous acceptons aussi le paiement par chèque et virement bancaire toutefois la commande ne sera préparée qu'à confirmation de la réception du paiement par notre service comptabilité.
