Wine description

Before being an organic wine, Autrement must above all be a premium wine held to the high quality standards shared by all wines signed by Gérard Bertrand. Consistency of quality is ensured by blending grapes from different terroirs. Gérard Bertrand's commitment to the environment is reflected in this range through AB certification by Ecocert, the reference label for consumers in France (85% brand awareness in France), as well as environmentally responsible packaging (recycled paper label, raw cardboard, natural Procork stopper). This range is part of a sustainable development policy focused on preserving viticultural landscapes and fostering agriculture that respects the environment and biodiversity. Best served at 12°C with shellfish, scallops, grilled or sauced fish such as sea bass or wolf fish grilled with lemon butter, or white meats.

Winemaking and ageing

After manual harvesting, all the grapes are destemmed before being placed in vat. A traditional maceration of 10 to 15 days is carried out, with temperature control to preserve the aromas. The frequency of pump-overs is adjusted to allow the extraction of polyphenols and fruity aromas. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in vats for a few months, then bottled.

Tasting note

The colour is a beautiful, deep golden yellow, vibrant and clear. The complex and floral nose reveals floral aromas, complemented by buttery notes and fresh fruit. The palate, perfectly balanced and fairly powerful, remains smooth and velvety with flavours of yellow and exotic fruits, accompanied by honeyed notes and vanilla. The finish evolves towards a lovely freshness, with a good length on the palate.

What are the delivery times and charges?

Although all orders are dispatched within 24h, this may take up to 48h in some cases.
We then offer various delivery options:

Delivery to a collection point takes between 2 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch
Standard delivery takes between 2 and 3 working days from the time of dispatch.
Express delivery takes between 24h and 48h from the time of dispatch.
Pallet delivery takes between 4 and 5 working days from the time of dispatch.

Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, pallet...) and the price is calculated at the time of checkout.
Standard delivery is free in France from €125 and in other countries from €300 of order.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, as well as payments via PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All transactions are fully secure.

We also accept payment by cheque and bank transfer; however, the order will only be processed upon confirmation of receipt of payment by our accounts department.
