The héritage of the company
Gérard Bertrand, an iconic winemaker from the Languedoc region, inherited from his father Georges a deep love for the vine and wine. A former rugby player turned winemaker, Gérard Bertrand combines tradition and innovation to create wines that embody the soul of our terroir.
Gérard Bertrand's rosé wines draw their essence from the diversity of these Languedoc terroirs. From clay-limestone soils to vines caressed by the Mediterranean sun, each bottle tells a unique story, elevated by the influence of the climate and the soil.
The quality of Gérard Bertrand's rosé wines also lies in the art of blending, a complex process in which each grape variety brings its own personality to the final cuvée. The resulting rosé wines are symphonies of flavours, with fruity, floral and spiced notes that awaken the senses.

Our environmentally friendly rosé wines "Act For the Planet"
Deeply committed to the environment, we offer several ranges of organic and biodynamic wines that are respectful of the planet.
Or & Azur Rosé holds the "Bee Friendly" label. It highlights producers with positive environmental farming practices that respect and integrate bees and pollinators within their crops.
Prima Nature Grenache and Syrah rosé, a range of organic wines with no added sulphites, reduced to the essentials. It expresses the character and taste of the fruit and the terroir.
Autrement Grenache rosé, Syrah rosé and Languedoc rosé: before being an organic wine, Autrement must be a premium wine that meets the high quality standards common to all wines signed by Gérard Bertrand. The commitment to the environment is expressed in this range through AB certification by Ecocert, a consumer reference label in France, as well as through environmentally friendly packaging (recycled paper label, raw cardboard, natural Procork stopper).Naturae Grenache rosé and Syrah rosé: a vegan range for consumers who care about animal welfare.Solar6 Grenache rosé, a wine certified "AB" and "Bee Friendly", pays homage to the sun-drenched terroirs of the South of France where these wines are crafted.Naturalys Grenache rosé: Gérard Bertrand created the Naturalys cuvées whose grapes come from vineyards cultivated using organic farming.

Organic rosé wine is not simply a relaxing wine to be savoured in the sun in summer. At Gérard Bertrand we also offer rosé wines of exceptional quality, certified biodynamic: Clos du Temple, an exceptional rosé, born on a particular terroir where schists rest on limestone, bringing both power and minerality. And Ballerine 2013, a brut rosé from the blend of the finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from high-altitude terroirs, revealing freshness and tension.
