Bourboulenc Grenache Blanc Roussanne Vermentino
Château des Karantes is an exceptional vineyard located in the heart of a small valley, surrounded by the rocky cliffs of the Clape massif, classified as a natural park
The estate overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and offers a remarkable panorama of the coast and the hinterland made up of scrubland and pine forests.
The climatic conditions are exceptional: both by the duration of sunshine, the quantities of heat stored during the day by the limestone and returned to the grapes at night, and by the effect of the Mediterranean Sea which tempers the summer temperatures.
br>The vineyard is cultivated biodynamically.
Since the 2017 vintage, the estate has been certified AB (organic wine ) and DEMETER ( Biodynamic agriculture).

Custody and Service Tips

Serve at 11°C - Enjoy with pan-fried scallops, fish in sauce or as an aperitif.

The Grand Vin comes from the best plots of the property. The harvest is manual, and the berries are pressed as soon as they arrive at the cellar. We pay great attention to the delicacy of the pressing and each press juice is tasted before being selected in the composition of the Grand Vin. After a light static settling, the alcoholic fermentation takes place in French oak barrels. Temperature control helps preserve the freshness and integrity of the aromas. Aging in barrels lasts between 7 and 8 months until the spring equinox with regular stirring (for two months).
