Every year, the counter is reset to zero. To award this title, several internationally renowned competitions such as the International Wine Challenge, Decanter World Wine Awards, Wines Spectator and Robert Parker take on this difficult task. vThe wine, by color section, is observed from every angle, then smelled and finally tasted to reveal all its aromas. Only one wine per color is selected, then comes the second tasting, wherethe best wine of all colors is chosen.

The world's best wine at Gérard Bertrand

Every year at Gerard Bertrand, at least one wine stands out from the crowd. Rosé wine, red winethe full expression of southern wines is on display on the international stage and in the palates of the best oenologists.

L'Hospitalitas 2019, recognized as the best red wine in the world in 2021, is made from the finest parcels of Château l'Hospitalet. Gerard Bertrand's rosé wines are not to be outdone: in 2020, the 2019 vintage of the Clos du Temple was named " Best Rosé Wine in the World " by The Drinks Business magazine.
