The “Demeter” label identifies producers who use biodynamic farming methods.
Biodynamics is a positive, regenerative form of organic farming that aims to strengthen soil and plants, notably through the use of natural preparations and by taking planetary influences into account.
Bee Friendly
The “Bee Friendly” label highlights producers whose environmentally beneficial farming practices respect and incorporate bees and other pollinators into their crops.
Vegan
The “Vegan” label assures consumers that no animal-derived products have been used during the winemaking process. Products commonly used in winemaking (gelatine, egg white, casein, etc.), particularly during the “fining” stage, are strictly prohibited.
No Added Sulphites
Our expertise and knowledge of the Languedoc terroir enable us to make quality wines without added sulphites. At Gérard Bertrand, we have gained enough experience with and understanding of our grape varieties to protect our wine naturally from oxidation, without adding sulphites.
