Gérard bertrand wines served at presidential lunches with president xi jinping
Tuesday 7 May 2024, Gérard Bertrand wines served at the presidential luncheon at La Mongie with President Xi Jinping and at the Heads of State luncheon.
President Emmanuel Macron, President Xi Jinping and their spouses had lunch today in a high-altitude restaurant at La Mongie, in the Hautes-Pyrénées. On the occasion of this luncheon, the Château l'Hospitalet Grand Vin White 2022 and the Château l'Hospitalet Grand Vin Red 2021, crafted by Gérard Bertrand, were served to the presidential couples.
We are proud that the wines from our group take part in celebrating international diplomacy and the brotherhood between peoples and cultures.
This is the second time that Château l'Hospitalet has been served at a Franco-Chinese presidential meeting. In 2019, the presidents discovered together the wines of Château l'Hospitalet at the French pavilion during President Emmanuel Macron's official visit to China.
The Heads of State luncheon was also accompanied by three other wines from the Languedoc winemaker renowned for his expertise and his commitment to viticulture in harmony with nature.
The wines Cigalus white 2022, IGP Pays d'oc, Château la Sauvageonne rosé 2022, AOP Languedoc and Kosmos 888, 2020, AOP Languedoc, were served at the Heads of State luncheon. The Art Collection Château l'Hospitalet 2020 cuvée was among the gifts offered to President Xi Jinping.

C’est formidable d’avoir fait déguster les vins du Languedoc lors de ce déjeuner Présidentiel. J ‘adore les vins de Gérard BERTRAND et je les bois depuis très longtemps car ce sont les meilleurs vins pour moi en Biodynamique et sans sulfites ajoutés.. c’est dommage que Monsieur BERTRAND n’est pas de boutique phare à PARIS pour venir déguster ses grands vins et les acheter directement.
