Wine description
Château la Sauvageonne is a legendary site. Its exceptional aspect, location and terroir give it a unique character.
Pica Broca means "Pic branche" (branch peak) in Occitan, and refers to the selection of the finest plots on the estate: old Grenache vines harvested at full ripeness, with limited yields. The harvest is triggered on the basis of ripeness checks, analysis of polyphenols contained in the grape skins, and daily tasting of the berries as harvest approaches.
Picking healthy, ripe grapes is the essential first step to achieving a high level of quality.
The harvest is manual, and the grapes are brought to the winery in small crates within the hour.
The grapes are sorted and then destemmed before being placed in temperature-controlled vats.
Each grape variety is vinified separately. The maceration period lasts 20 to 25 days.
At the end of winter, the wines are transferred into new 225-litre barrels for 12 to 16 months.

Delivery costs depend on the delivery address, the number of bottles and the delivery option (mondial relay, express, standard, 24h, pallet...) and the price is calculated at the time of checkout.
Standard delivery is free in France from €125 and in other countries from €300 of order.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, as well as payments via PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay. All transactions are fully secure.
We also accept payment by cheque and bank transfer; however, the order will only be processed upon confirmation of receipt of payment by our accounts department.
