Description of the wine
Live the historical experience with Heritage An 77 Clairette du Languedoc 2021 75cl. Discover this ancestral grape variety present since Antiquity, whose name refers to the former owner of a luxurious villa. Pliny the Elder, in his work "Natural History", evokes this white wine "Mustum"! Taste this unique aroma born from clay-limestone and pebble soils. Live the adventure!

Simply as an aperitif with southern tapas, this vintage will also pair wonderfully with Mediterranean fish, shellfish and fresh cheeses. It will take on all its splendor with a carpaccio of scallops or flambéed lobsters.
Vinification and aging
The harvest of this ancestral and iconic grape variety from the South of France is carried out at the end of the night, when the temperatures are coolest; this is to prevent any oxidation and to preserve the quality of these aromatic precursors.
The harvest generally takes place from the beginning to the end of September after a thorough plot selection which allows the qualitative potential of each vine block to be assessed. The grapes are quickly transported to the press. Only the highest quality first juices are selected.
After clarification, fermentation takes place naturally and at a controlled temperature between 16°C and 18°C. The wine thus obtained is aged in vats for a few months with stirring of the fine lees in order to obtain a natural smoothness and a creamy side in the mouth. Once the aging is finished, we can proceed to the assembly and packaging stage.
Tasting note
The dress is clear, shiny with a color
pale yellow and green highlights on youth.
The aromas of this vintage are very representative of
the typicality of the Clairette grape variety: in its youth
we can appreciate floral and fruit aromas
yellow (pineapple, exotic fruits, citrus fruits, etc.); with
time we will be able to appreciate notes
minerals, dried fruits and sometimes slightly
honeyed. The attack in the mouth is refreshing,
digestible; the heart of the mouth is
smooth and tasty.
