The ideal wine in 4 questions
TAKE THE QUIZ
Under the beneficial influence of the Pyrenees, in the heart of a cool, humid microclimate, the vines of Domaine de l'Aigle rise to an altitude of over 500 meters.
This geographical singularity is particularly well suited to grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer, which flourish wonderfully.
Thanks to the Domaine de l'Aigle's exceptional terroir and climate, and the special care given to the biodynamically-grown vines, the grapes here benefit from a slow ripening process that allows delicate control of the wine's acidity and aromatic palette.
The great white wines produced by Gérard Bertrand and his team are of great finesse and remarkable minerality, demonstrating the marvelous combination of Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer.
