Soleilla has long been part of Château l'Hospitalet. The vines were already being worked organically when, in 2018, Gérard Bertrand bought the property and brought the prodigal son back into the Hospitalet fold.

Today, with her Villa right next to the Château, she reinforces the excellent wine tourism offer developed by l'Hospitalet, an ode to the well-being of the South and the Mediterranean. We're on one of the highest points of La Clape, facing the sea and the sun. The rays of the divine star strike the white limestone of La Clape, in a clash of light with the blue of the sky. At the zenith, the Villa Soleilla adventure blossoms, a tribute to life, opening the way to the creation of an orange wine of excellence.

Orange wines, produced by long maceration on white grape skins, are based on know-how that originated in Georgia over 8,000 years ago. With Villa Soleilla, this method extracts from the berries all the expression of their idyllic environment: on their skins, they retain the breath of Nature that surrounds them. The scents of the unique flower groves (orchid and centaurée de la Clape), lavender, rosemary, juniper and cypress envelop the vines, bathed in sea breezes and divine celestial light. To extract body and spirit and transcend them in wine, Gérard Bertrand has rediscovered Georgian methods, which he has adapted to the Mediterranean and to his vision, attentive to the thousand and one details that make for exceptional achievements.
