Under the beneficial influence of the Pyrenees, in the heart of a cool and humid microclimate, the vines of the Domaine de l'Aigle culminate at more than 500 meters above sea level.

This geographical singularity is particularly well suited to grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Chardonnay or Gewürztraminer, which flourish wonderfully.

Thanks to the exceptional terroir and climate of the Domaine de l'Aigle and the special care given to the vines grown biodynamically, the grapes here benefit from a slow maturation allowing delicate control of acidity and the aromatic palette of the wine.

The great white wines produced by Gérard Bertrand and his team are of great finesse and remarkable minerality, thus demonstrating the wonderful match between Chardonnay and Gewürztraminer.


Aigle Royal Chardonnay 2019

Coming from the two most beautiful plots of the vineyard, this wine with a luminous yellow color and intense nose delivers a characteristic depth of Chardonnay on the palate.
Its aromas of fruit and flowers are both complex and subtle.
Ideally served at 12°C, delicious to drink on its own as an aperitif, this delicate wine will go wonderfully with shellfish, fish, white meats and cheeses.


Domaine de l'Aigle Chardonnay 2020
AOP Limoux - Labels AB and Demeter

Unique and magnificent, the color of this wine has golden green brilliance with silvery gray reflections.
The expressive nose reveals notes of white peach.
The palate is fresh and mineral.
Ideally served between 12 and 13°C, this light and supple wine will go perfectly with roast poultry, fish or seafood in sauce, but also with goat or sheep cheese.


Gewürztraminer Domaine de l'Aigle 2019

How daring to grow this Alsatian grape variety in the south of France! Its character is unique, full of intensity and aromas.
Its crystalline yellow color reveals a complex nose and an expressive palate.
Exceptional quality , this wine is best served between 10 and 12°C, as an accompaniment to spicy and spicy dishes as well as full-bodied cheeses.
