Saga of grape varieties - Grenache Blanc

White Grenache originates from Spain and more specifically from the provinces of Barcelona and Tarragona. It is found in France exclusively on the edges of the Mediterranean coast, from Perpignan to Nice, as well as in the Corsica massif. Grenache Blanc likes gravelly, stony and warm soils.
Its bunches are rather large and its berries are very juicy and sweet. Wines made from Grenache Blanc are essentially characterized by aromas of fennel and dill, and melon, or even white nectarine.
It is found in particular in the cuvée Château l'Hospitalet Grand Vin Blanc, Château la Sauvageonne Grand vin blanc
