After the voting period, the 100 wines with the highest number of votes in each category were qualified for the final which took place in December 2020 in Helsinki. During the final, the wines were evaluated and ranked twice during blind tastings by the tastingbook's panel of professional tasters (a jury selected from 11,000 professionals: editors, bloggers, Masters of Wine, sommeliers etc. .) The six main categories included red wines, white wines, rosé wines, sparkling wines, fortified wines and Champagnes. Within each category, the best wines were rewarded, also taking into account their price level and their country. |
