Naturalys Pinot Noir

Driven by a life-long passion for the beautiful wine-growing landscapes of the South of France, and the superb wines they produce, Gérard Bertrand’s Naturalys collection is a new range of wines produced entirely from Organic grapes.

Gérard Bertrand’s commitment to sustainable agriculture has been recognised with ECOCERT certification, guaranteeing Organic production, environmentally-friendly packaging (labels made from recycled paper, untreated cardboard and corks of low environmental impact), and a low carbon footprint thanks to the proximity of the production and distribution sites.

The Naturalys range is above all a collection of premium wines, designed to ensure maximum pleasure while reflecting the distinctive character of the grape varieties and their terroir, which our environmentally-friendly policy is helping to preserve for future generations.

TASTING NOTES

With its lively, ruby-red robe, this 100% Pinot varietal boasts intense, fruity aromas of ripe cherry and wild raspberry, with spicy nuances.

Elegant, velvety-smooth tannins building to a well-balanced finish.

VINIFICATION AND MATURING

The grapes are harvested by hand, then de-stemmed ahead of traditional maceration under controlled temperatures, lasting 10 to 15 days.

The must is frequently pumped-over to thoroughly extract the aromas, tannins and colour, then transferred to stainless steel vats for ageing. The wine is then bottled and laid down for several months.
