Wine & Food Pairing: Code Rouge

Code Rouge, our elegant AOP Cremant de Limoux, comes from plots of land under an oceanic climate. This type of climate delivers to the wine freshness and the minerality. Blanc de blancs, made only with white graps, Chardonnay, Chenin and Mauzac, it is a dry wine full of sharpness and elegance.

It is very pale, almost crystalline with fine bubbles. The nose is floral and presents notes of pears, citrus fruits and fresh fruit. The mouth is fresh and mineral.

This sparkling wine is the ideal companion of your desserts. It will marvelously join a strawberry cake, the French pastry “Fraisier” so appreciated in summer!
