The Château La Sauvageonne Grand Vin Red is a wine stemming from an extraordinary terroir, the Terrasses du Larzac, which gives the wine a great balance and vivacity. This wine has prominent echoes of the scrubland in the nose, with jammy fruit, lively spice and subtle hints of dark fruit and gingerbread. In mouth, elegant and refined tannins frame the palate, the wine being aged in oak barrels for 12 months.
It is a powerful wine which pairs beautifully with lamb tajine.
The lamb is delicious, with a complex and strong taste. The tajine being a spicy dish, the perfect wine pairing is with a red harmonious and powerful wine.
