Wine & Food Pairing: Aigle Royal Chardonnay

The Aigle Royal Chardonnay is a wine produced from the highest plot of Chardonnay vines of the Domaine de l’Aigle (500 meters above sea level) facing the south and the white mountains of the Pyrenees. The plot is located on a unique terroir in Languedoc, with a clay and under a climate between Mediterranean and mountainous.

Due to its fruity (pineapple, peach, apricot, almond) and floral (white flowers) aromas, it is a very fresh and subtle wine. Toasty notes owing to the maturing in oak barrels bring complexity to the vintage.
