Weekly pairing / Candlemas winter dishes

The village of Tautavel, humanity cradle, is located in the Roussillon between the Pyrenees and The Mediterranean in a region rich in history where the grape variety (Grenache) is beautifully expressed.

Homage aux vignerons”, is dedicated to the work of wine growers but also one of the first cradle of humanity with 450,000-year-old Homo Erectus of Tautavel discovered in 1971. It is an exclusive selection of centenary old Grenache vines, cultivated on very limestone terraces exposed to the south-east and lulled to the rhythm of the tramontane wind for a perfect ripening of the grapes.

We advise you to accompany this generous and rich such as the traditional Burgundy fondue.

The complex and powerful nose, silky mouth with intense notes of black fruits, the spicy and toasty final will sublimate this special moment with family or friends.
