The Winemaker's movement during pruning

A beautiful harvest depends primarily on the pruning period. The pruning of the vine is indeed the most important task of the winegrower since it defines the yield and particularly the quality of each plot. This operation must be done cautiously and thus requires a precise strategy to select the right strands to cut. It asks from the winemaker a minutious and precise work:

- By bezing to prevent the buds from freezing

- By cleaning each strand of the tendrils to optimize the flow of the sap

- By avoiding size wounds to prevent wood diseases
