In the december edition of Air France Magazine was published a series of interview around the COP 21 conference. Gérard Bertrand was one of the featured interviewes.

"In 2015, 400 of our 600 hectares of vineyards, representing 7 of our 11 estates, are being farmed biodynamically. By 2020, all of the land will have been converted. Using plant, animal or mineral derived preparations, depending on cosmic rhythms (lunar, solar, planetary) we respect biodiversity. The theories of Rudolf Steiner, founder of anthroposophy, convinced me , soil can be fully regenerated and a plant can be stimulated by its natural environment. This return to a natural balance requires three to four years, produces smaller yields but more uniform harvests , and results in extremely refined, complex wines that age well. In partnership with the GoodPlanet foundation, chaired by Yann Arthus Bertrand, we are also working on agroforestry. We are replanting trees, in the spirit of the smaller farmer who takes care of the vineyards, maintains the landscape, creates new resources...."
