Saga of Grape Varieties: Marselan

Marselan is a recent vine obtained by crossing between Cabernet-Sauvignon and Grenache. It is mainly found in Languedoc and the valley of the Rhône because it likes dry grounds and the hot and sunny soils.

Marselan presents aromas of ripe fruits. It gives coloured, typified and high-quality wines. They are aromatic, intensified, endowed with a very interesting structure, and characterized by supple tannins without bitterness which makes these wines ideal for ageing.
