Gregory Porter, born November 4, 1971 in Sacramento, California, is a songwriter, singer and American actor.
Gregory Porter is influenced by Marvin Gaye's soul music and Nat King Cole's jazz. In 2010, he released his first album, entitled Water. At the time of its release, the disc receives excellent reviews.
In 2013, with his third album entitled Liquid Spirit, the singer confirms his success in the United States and Europe. Liquid Spirit even wins the GrammyAward for best vocal jazz album. Gregory Porter is also a theater actor. He made his mark on Broadway, in the musical It Ain'tNothin 'But the Blues.
