At the age of thirteen, Francis Cabrel hears for the first time Like a Rolling Stone by Bob Dylan on the radio; a discovery which will have a major influence in its career.
With his second album, Les chemins de traverse and his famous song Je l'aime à mourir, Cabrel reaches the success. His albums become less frequent, but they win in quality and in esthetics. As proof, the album Sarbacane, released in 1989 after almost three years of silence, knows a huge success, in particular thanks to the titles Sarbacane and C'est écrit.
After an absence of seven years on stage, he releases on April 27th, 2015 his 13th album, In Extremis.
