Located in Roussillon in the very South of France, Tautavel is known as the Cradle of Humanity: a crane of a prehistorical man who lived there 450.000 years ago has been discovered there.
Tautavel is also a growth from the Côtes du Roussillon Villages appellation at the heart of the vineyards of the South of France. Gérard Bertrand has built an exclusive partnership with the wine growers of this appellation to produce a must-have wine. It turns out to be a Self-fulfilling prophecy since Tautavel Hommage Aux Vignerons 2011 received the marks of 90/100 by Wine Spectator and 93/100 by Wine Enthusiast.
We shall return on this big event during the year.
