Launched in 2002 at Cigalus, in Languedoc Roussillon, Biodynamic is a personal conviction of Gérard Bertrand but also the company ambition. One of the biodynamic agriculture principle is to obtain more alive soils. To do this, we introduce organic matter and minerals in the soils with preparations made from cow manure and horn.
In order to respect the soils, we are going one step further in Clos d’Ora, AOP Minervois La Livinière, by using animal power. Indeed, Vanina and Victorieux are two mules who are working the soils of Clos d’Ora vineyards. Their work decrease soil compaction and reinforces animal world in the trio: animal, mineral and vegetal.
