5 Gérard Bertrand wines rated 90+ by Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

Gérard Bertrand team is delighted to share with you the ratings acquired in Robert Parker's Wine Advocate. Our Wines were tasted by Jeb Dunnuck

Château de Villemajou Grand Vin, AOP Corbières Boutenac, 2013 : 92/100

Jeb Dunnuck says about the Château de Villemajou Grand Vin, AOP Corbières Boutenac, 2013 : "My favorite of the wines tasted this go around, the 2013 Domaine de Villemajou Corbières Boutenac Grand Vin is a brilliant wine that does everything right. Made from a mix of Syrah, Carignan and Grenache, brought up in 80% new oak, it gives up lots of sweet black fruits, chocolate, crushed rock and smoked meat like aromas and flavors. This gives way to a medium to full-bodied effort that has superb overall balance, nicely integrated acidity and great purity of fruit. It’s already hard to resist, yet I suspect it will evolve gracefully given its purity, balance and freshness.

Former rugby player Gerard Bertrand makes a bevy of high quality wines from throughout the Languedoc. All of his wines have well-made, textured, ripe profiles that are always a joy to drink."

La Forge, AOP Corbières Boutenac, 2012: 91+/100

Château La Sauvageonne Grand Vin, AOP Coteaux du Languedoc Terrasses du Larzac, 2013 : 91/100

Domaine de Cigalus White, IGP Aude Hauterive, 2014 : 91/100

Grand Terroir Les Aspres, AOP Côtes du Roussillon Villages Les Aspres, 2013 : 90/100
